Antonia and Theron are amazing, fun people and I had a great time shooting them!
We did the shoot at Toni's Parents and Grandma's house which are around the corner from each other. Toni's Grandma introduced them and they had their first date at her house. They also spent a lot of their time between the two houses so they had a lot of significance to their relationship.
Here is the Guest Book I did for them.

WOD Gear, Clothing for CrossFit and exercise aficionados!
I recently did a session for WOD gear. A new clothing company for CrossFit and exercise aficionados!
Scott and Gabe the owners are really cool guys and they have some pretty cool products too
This shoot presented a whole bunch of challenges... First I wanted to use a six light setup. I wanted to combine a really edgy, sculpted sports look with a softer more catalogue type feel.
When I arrived at the studio there was a mix up and they didn't have the equipment I requested. So, I had to make due with what was available. I had only one strobe pack, and 4 heads. If you remember my earlier post on lighting an all white environment you know that we need at least 2 lights on the background. Ok so now we're working with only 2 lights to sculpt our model.
An additional problem was that the stobe pack did not have independently variable channels. So, we basically had to power the lights up and down buy moving them closer or further away from the subjects and background.
It was a challenging shoot and light position was key. The images turned out pretty good considering what we had to work with. I would have like to have sculpted the models a lot more but sometimes we have to make lemonade.
I didn't worry about post processing or even cropping because their GFX guys will be compositing them into some backgrounds.
Here is some fun BTS shots. Thanks Mom!

Newborn, Maya Gomez!
Maya G, is the sweetest little girl!!!
At Mom and Dad's house there wasn't really any good light, so had to bring my own. I think I prefer to use available light when on location shooting newborn but sometimes you just have to go with the flow!
I set up in the master bedroom and used two lights. For the black setup I laid out a piece of black fabric I had brought with me. For the lighting I used a Quantum Flash through a Wescott 54'' Round Halo as my main light.
For the White Setup I used the same Main light and I also used a 580exII to light a piece of foamcore leaning up against the bedposts. I also laid a white blanket down on the bed.
Here is roughly what my lighting setup looked like.
