I recently did a job for a Deli/Pizzeria in Portland Oregon. They wanted to decorate the inside of the restauraunt with images of actual customers. We set up a white background taped to the wall directly near the entrance to the building and grabbed people as they walked in. It was pretty fun, and I think the customers really enjoyed it!
I used 1 alien bees B1600 shot through an umbrella (light and easy to pack.) We we're outside the restraunt in the shade so I exposed for the white background and then brought in the flash. No light meter, just seasoned to taste. I let the ambient light be the fill.

We got our photos of the twins, the picture with the boy and girl making funny faces, so fast after I ordered them off the website. Our friends and family love the pictures so much. We are so glad we ran into you at Harry's that day! You really captured a fun moment for us. Plus we were one of the pictures they chose for their building! How cool! Thanks again!
